Contemporary politics and political theory, particularly in Britain and Europe, is complemented by the study of social and cultural themes in history.

First-year modules include: Introduction to Political Analysis, Comparing Modern Polities, The Globalisation of World Politics and Paths from Antiquity to Modernity. In the second and third years you can take optional modules in areas that interest you. There's also a project module.

Throughout the three years, you'll write reports and essays, give presentations and work on projects.
