Who is the course for?
This is aimed at students who hold the level 2 Certificate in Holisitc Therapies or equivalent and who wish to study advanced techniques in holistic therapies.

What is the course about?
During the course you will have the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge within the field of Holistic Therapies. You will also study:
Supporting Health & Safety
Supporting Employment Standards
Use Interpersonal Skills with Therapy Clients
Assess Clients for Therapy Treatments
Stress Management
Indian Head Massage
Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Massage
Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Reflexology
Level 3 Certificate in Avanced Aromatherapy
Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology
Open Salon
Work placement

Will I need anything else?
You will need a white overall/tunic, black skirt/trousers, black shoes.
A camera for photographic evidence and stationery (pens, coloured pencils, plain writing book) for your portfolio evidence. You may be required to provide your own models. A recommended, specialist text book is required.

How long & often do I attend?
This course is offered as a one year programme and requires attendance of several sessions per week. You will be required to attend for a minimum of 90%.

How will I be assessed?
For each unit - through either a written assignment/pack, or end of unit written test (assessed on practical aspects of that unit). You will be required to sit external test papers.

What opportunities will this lead to?
On completion of this course you will be able to go on to advanced courses within the holistic field. Professional opportunities include working in hospitals, health spas, salons, gyms, cruise ships, setting up your own private practice. You may have the opportunity to work abroad. You may wish to apply for the foundation degree in complementary therapies, advanced massage, advanced aromatherapy, advanced reflexology, hypnotherapy.
