This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission domestic open, balanced and fan assisted flued gas fires and wall heaters by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.
Range of appliances covered - Open flued gas fire (radiant/convector), open flued inset live fuel effect gas fire (ILFE), open flued decorative fuel effect gas fire (DFE) balanced flued gas fire and balanced fan assisted wall heater.
You must hold a recognised gas qualification (such as Gas foundation) or, if already a gas engineer, a previous ACS CCN1 certificate. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to attend the programme and a willingness to study theoretical and practical components of the programme.
