Yes, an interview is required and you may have to complete an initial assessment to ensure your skills are suitable for the level of the course.

What can I progress to?
The qualification will provide a basis for progression to further studies in Accounting or AAT.

What is the course about?
Within the qualification, candidates have the opportunity to learn routines concerning the documentation and processes related to making and receiving payments. They will gain an initial insight into both cash and credit business transactions, VAT and other computerised routines.

What are the course outcomes?
Full knowledge of the Sage50 system.

How will you be assessed?
All learning outcomes will be assess through an externally set and marked examination lasting 2 hours, consisting of a series of one practical task in the form of a case study and one theory task which may be hand-written or prepared using word-processing software.
