The ICB are the world's largest Bookkeeping institute with in excess of 150,000 members worldwide. Prince Michael of Kent is the patron of the ICB, which adds credibility and further value to this qualification.
Once you have completed the Distance Learning ICB Level 2 Computerised Bookkeeping Course you will then be ready to take the ICB Level 2 Bookkeeping examination. The ICB are the "Institute of Certified Bookkeepers."
On successful completion of the course and relevant examination, you will gain an official ICB level II certificate in computerised bookkeeping.

Candidates must have achieved the following ICB Bookkeeping examinations, or gained exemptions from them, before they may apply for the Level II Computerised Bookkeeping qualification: Level I Certificate in Basic Bookkeeping.

- Unit 11: Bank Reconciliation and VAT Returns
The course will take the form of a series of written assignments which are submitted and marked by your tutor. If you wish to gain the formal ICB qualification you will also need to sit an exam online.
The ICB Computerised Bookkeeping examinations are currently paper based examinations. Students are sent a paper exam via post and are required to use their own software to complete the exam. Reports are then printed and sent hard copy to the ICB for marking. The exam can be taken at any time and is required to be organised and paid for additionally by the student.
