ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management

Introduction
Awarded by the Institute of Leadership and Management, this programme provides supervisors and first line managers with a recognised qualification that focuses on some of the core management skills and provides a stepping stone to the NEW Level 3 Certificate and Diploma programmes. The changes enhance the very popular Introductory Certificate programme into what we think will be a winner with organisations and individuals alike.

Suitability

Newly appointed and existing first line managers and supervisors who have received little or no formal training and who would benefit from the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to be competent and effective in their role.

Assessment

Each candidate must complete to a national standard:

• One Work-based Assignment
• Unit assessments

4 Workshop days, and completion of open-learning book.
Course notes and / or manuals are provided.

Progression

This programmes has 6 credits which can be carried over into the New L3 Certificate or Diploma in First Line Management qualifications.
