Prepares students for IMI Diploma in Motor Vehicle Programmes. This course facilitates the development of practical skills and knowledge essential for those training to become qualified body repair technicians, This ensures that the course satisfies the students and meets the national standards set by the automotive skills council. The IMI Certificate in Body Repair is a Technical Certificate.
Assessment:
All units are examined by an on-line assessment in the form of multiple-choice questions and in order to assess the students ability to perform practical tasks to industry standards, simulated workshop activities of body repair are arranged.

Entry Requirements:
IMI Level 1 in Body Repair or equivalent.
Content:
The course is modular and both theory and practice of each module is taught. The modules are:
G1 Contribute to Workplace. Good housekeeping.
G2 Ensure you own actions reduce risks to Health and Safety.
G3 Maintain positive working relationships.
BP02 Remove and fit non welded non-structural vehicle body panels.
BP05 Remove and replace vehicle non-structual Body panels.
BP06 Repair Vehicle non-structural body panels.
