This course has been designed to offer suitable preparation for the Microsoft Certified Professional Exam 70-270: Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional.

Modules include:

• Installing Microsoft Windows XP Professional
• Automating an installation of Microsoft Windows XP Professional
• Configuring hardware on a computer running Microsoft Windows
• XP Professional
• Managing disks
• Configuring and managing file systems
• Troubleshooting the boot process and other system issues
• Configuring the desktop environment
• Configuring internet explorer
• Supporting remote users
• Configuring Microsoft Windows XP for mobile computing
• Monitoring resources and performance

Attendance is by block release, 9am - 4pm.

Which qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the course?

The student will be at a knowledge level to take the Professional Certification exam provided by Microsoft at our Pearson VUE testing Centre.
