Course programme

John's own beautiful Impressionistic style of working is well known from his numerous articles in the Leisure Painter magazine and exhibited work. On this course you will explore the essential looser style which is needed to create vibrant colour and shimmering light in your pastels. Most of the work will be studio based from previously made sketches or photographs but, if weather permits, possibly also from sketches made on short forays outdoors.
