Reviews on Indie Training Fund

More information

History

Established in 1993 by the indie sector, it is solely funded by voluntary contributions from its member companies.

Companies represented on its Board of Trustees include Endemol, IMG Media, RDF Media, Shine Group, Talkback Thames, Tiger Aspect and a cross section of smaller production companies from around the UK.

Guided by its member indies, ITF provides low-cost day and half-day professional training courses in London and around the UK in diverse genres and industry areas including production, creative development, business, financial, legal and people management skills.

It makes major annual grants to Skillset’s TV Freelance Fund which subsidises training for freelancers.

ITF uses a wide network of skilled industry practitioners and development specialists, as well as indie company and training contacts around the UK, and offers advisory services to the sector, including its unique “in-indie” tailored development and consultancy for its member companies.
