BSc (Hons) Information Systems is a vocational course which focuses on the analysis, design, implementation and administration of the information systems that are vital to business, and the critical roles of database designer and administrator. There are strong elements of analysis techniques, development methodologies and the management of Information Systems from a business perspective. As a member of the Oracle Academic Initiative, we use Oracle material to enhance our teaching and you will have the opportunity to try for Oracle accreditation (not directly a part of the course). You’ll also study Agile computing, the de facto development method for many government projects, as a fundamental core theme.
