ADVANCED DIPLOMA IT

The Diploma is based around work and you will have opportunities to experience different types of learning in different environments, with an emphasis on practical activities. This is a hands-on course and has direct relevance to how IT is used in business. You may also be able to study an AS course/GCSE Re-sit alongside this course.

2 years full time.

What qualifications do I need to study on the course?
At least 5 grades C at GCSE or equivalent.

What will I study?

Three units based on Business, people and technology which will help you to develop and apply skills relevant to working in an-enabled business. Units will include; creating technology solutions, making projects successful, managing technology systems and many others. You will also develop your English, Mathematics and ICT skills and complete a period of work experience.

Method of assessment
3 units Exam and 4 units of Coursework.

What will I be able to progress to?
The choice is yours - University or straight into employment - this course will prepare you for either of these outcomes.
