Description

We took over the Three Horseshoes at Scottow in March 2000, as a disposal list tenancy from Pubmaster. Within our first year we had been granted a full Public Entertainments Licence, a Children's Certificate and became the first pub to be a finalist in 3 Publican awards and eventually 8 awards including Bii licensee of the Year. We also held a Civil Wedding Licence. In June 2006, we moved to The Orchard Gardens, in North Walsham, a smaller venue allowing us to concentrate and develop the training side of our business, offering more courses of the highest standard for all needs within the licensed trade.

Now in February 2008, we have moved out of the pub to solely concentrate on the training, allowing us to be able to move around and offer more and more training, as well as keeping our own skills and training needs up to the highest levels to be able to pass the best possible advice and knowledge onto you, to enable you and your staff the best chance of a successful business, in an ever toughening trade.

With every single thing that we do we try to do it from the customer's point of view and so it is with training as well. We do not just give you the information you require to pass an exam (99% pass rate.) but can talk to you about the operational aspects. We can also provide a list of suppliers that we have dealt with, who we know will treat you properly. We will also offer a support line so that if you come up against a problem there is someone on the end of a telephone who will try to help.

In our latest BIIAB annual monitoring visit (March 2010), we have remained graded as a level 1 training centre. This means that we have been passed as a centre that provides the highest levels of professionalism and training as deemed by the awarding body of the Bii.

Not only do we offer a range of courses from The BII and CIEH but we can also offer a Bar consultancy service.

Based on our range of experience and contacts we can come and look at your premises and produce a full report not only on possible changes to your bar but a full profile of the area and it's environs.

This would include a Mystery Visitor appraisal of the Customer Experience at your premises

We can research possible Licensing problems and provide solutions.
We can help with Premises Licence applications or Hearings.
