Our Insights courses are specially designed to help young people aged 16-18 (19 in some cases) who lack formal qualifications and the confidence to get ahead.They provide a more rewarding experience for young people at entry level and level 1. There are no specific entry requirements but a college interview and initial assessment will help determine if this is the right way for you.

The courses are tailored to the needs of the individual, who will be required to set their own aims and objectives.

Start dates throughout the year.


You could go on to Level 1 or Level 2 courses, a traineeship, an apprenticeship or employment.

You will be asked what you want to do next at your initial interview so your course can be tailored to suit you.


Moving Up is a supported internship programme focussing on employability and based in the workplace and college.

My time at Insights has been a really great experience. Insights have helped me achieve my goals at College. Now I have learnt new skills for when I start working in the future.
