About the course:
This qualification is a must for those electrical contractors wishing toundertake periodic inspections. This course is suitable for anyone with current practical experience of inspection and testing of low voltage installations. Course Content:
This Four -Day course covers the theory and practice of Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations. The City & Guilds 2391-10 is a challenging programme which tests the candidate's ability of inspection & testing procedures.

Units Covered Include:
  • Statutory duties and safe working practices
  • BS 7671 requirements for inspection, testing and certification
  • IEE Guidance Note Number 3, Inspection & Testing, 4th edition, guidance and recommendations , with the on-site guide( OSG)
  • Demonstration of tests and "hands-on" experience
  • Preparation for practical and written assessments


Assessment:
2 written papers that consist of 20 short answer questions and 6 longer structured questions and a half day practical assessment.
