Intensive Group Spanish 20 /25 / 30 L/W

Since 1993 Tropical Coast Languages (formerly IMSOL-Almuñecar) offers courses for groups either for adults (groups of friends or professionals coming together), or teenagers (groups of students accompanied by their teachers or monitors). This kind of stays can start all year round with a minimum duration of 1 week. The town is perfect for this kind of stays because of:
- its location: on the coast but very close to the mountains.
- its privileged climate: Almuñécar has a unique tropical microclimate, hence the name “Costa Tropical” with average temperatures of 29ºC in the summer and 18ºC in winter.
- its size: Use of a vehicle is unnecessary as places of interest, beach, accommodation, etc are all in walking distance. We arrange personalized programmes according to the following options:

Types of Course:
- There are many course options: Spanish language; Culture, History or Literature in Spanish (for B1+ levels); Commercial, Tourism or Medical Spanish (also for B1+ levels); Teacher Training; etc.
- Number of classes per week: 15, 20 or 25 lessons / week, in open or closed groups according to each participant’s level of command of Spanish.
- The CLASSES will be timetabled in the morning from 9.00 and from Monday to Friday. There are no classes on Bank Holidays but the classes will be replaced.
- Every LESSON is 45’
- The COURSE PROGRAMME can be selected either by TCLanguages or by the group leaders, in order to meet any specific grammatical or conversational requirement. The participants will have to undergo a level test the first day of their course to determine their command of Spanish grammar and conversation and vocabulary. The classes will be carried out entirely in Spanish from the first day for every language level. All our language teachers are native Spanish speakers. The school has a professional and dynamic team of teaching staff, all holding superior university degrees and having undergone our in-house training programme
- At the end of the stay, students will receive the TCL Attendance Certificate and the group leader an Academic Report with all the contents studied &/or reviewed in the course.

Type of Accommodation:

- A week’s stay begins on the Sunday before the start of the course and ends on the following Saturday. Any arrival before or departure after that previously established must be made clear to the school and the extra nights paid for. Prices will depend on the type of accommodation.
- It is possible to choose among: Home-stay (suitable for minors), shared apartments, individual apartments, hostels or hotels.

Daily Programme of activities and excursions:
Apart from the course and the accommodation, we can arrange a daily programme of activities (one per day) and excursions (to Granada, La Alpujarra -South side of Sierra Nevada-, Costa Tropical, Seville, Córdoba, etc.). Activities will take place in the afternoon / evening.

Pick-up Service from the airport to Almuñecar. The closest airports are Málaga and Granada. This service is carried out following these steps:

- Arrival Transfer:
TCLanguages staff will welcome the group at the airport making sure that the group arrives without problems. Afterwards, the TCLanguages member will go with the group to the destination, direct to the meeting point for organizing the distribution of participants in their accommodations.

- Departure Transfer: a TCLanguages representative will be in the arranged meeting point to be sure that the departure is on time and without any problem. The return trip takes place without the TCLanguages member.
