· Brake adjustment.
· Lining inspection.
· Handbrake system.
· Disc brakes.
· Fault diagnosis and treatment.
· Hydraulic Components
· Servo units
· Master cylinders.
· Single and Tandem master cylinders.
· Brake fluid and pipes.
· Fault diagnosis and treatment.
· Practical Exercises In The Workshop
· Demonstration of vehicle preparation for brake shoe and pad replacement.
· Removal of brake shoes and pads.
· Use of specialist tools/equipment.
· Brake adjustments in line with manufacturers recommendations.
· Individual coaching in practical work.
· Final Test / Course Review / Debrief Additional Information:
Personal protective equipment is required.
A certificate will be issued on satisfactory completion of the course.
