This training focuses on the revision of basic modules with an emphasis on practical exercises. Students are introduced to Observation Post's, Anti and Counter Surveillance and Motorway Surveillance. Suitable for: Those who have completed the AMA basic Surveillance training or can demonstrate relative Surveillance experience.

If you have completed the AMA basic Surveillance training or you can demonstrate relative Surveillance experience, then professional development continues with the five day intermediate Surveillance training. It focuses on the revision of basic modules with an emphasis on practical exercises. Students are introduced to Observation Post's, Anti and Counter Surveillance and Motorway Surveillance.
- Core module a basic refresher to start the course on the right note.
- Planning and Preparation module students develop basic skills with in depth recce and briefings including full use of briefing aids.
- Communications module enhances the student's ability to deliver timely and effective commentary on the movement of the subject. Additional voice procedure demonstrations develop the student's glossary of terms used in Surveillance operations.
- Navigation by the end of the training students will be able to use Sat nav, Road atlas, A - Z and OS maps
- Foot Surveillance module taking the students on to the next step with additional environments including the use of public transport.
- Mobile Surveillance module the students ability to read ahead and react proactively to the subjects movements are honed with the use of Mobile - Foot - Mobile tactics.
- Mentor discussions each day starts with a one to one discussion with your assigned instructor. Constructive feedback will be given with the opportunity for the student to ask questions.
