International Certificate of Competence (Powerboat)

If you possess the relevant boat handling skills, theoretical knowledge and can demonstrate your competency you can apply to Duck-2-Water powerboat school to take an ICC Direct Assessment. In effect this is the Powerboat Level 2 Direct Assessment. If you pass then the sea school will complete an ICC application form for you to send to the RYA who issue you with your International Certificate of Competence.

The ICC Direct Assessment is up to one day in duration.

The International Certificate of Competence Direct Assessment and Courses are held at Ocean Village Marina, Southampton, Hampshire UK and in the Solent area.

Own Boat Tuition can be conducted in Southampton, Hampshire, Hamble, Portsmouth, Lymington, Chichester, Cowes, Poole, Isle of Wight, or anywhere on the South Coast, else where in the UK or in Europe.

You can attend a two day, RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course. At the successful completion of the powerboat level 2 course you will be issued with both a Powerboat Level 2 Certificate and an ICC application form for you to send to the RYA who issue you with your International Certificate of Competency.
