What will you be learning?
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) course is designed to assess the language ability of candidates for which English is not a first language and who need to study or work in English-speaking countries. The IELTS exam is available in 2 formats Academic (requested for higher studies) and General Training (broad social and educational context). The course is structured to prepare students for the four components of the IELTS exam (listening, reading, writing and speaking), and help them improve their skills to achieve a higher score. You will be assessed by exam comprising four papers (reading; writing; listening and speaking). The listening and speaking exams are common to all candidates but two alternate routes may be chosen for reading and writing. Academic reading and writing General Training reading and writing. IELTS is recognised by employers and universities in most countries, including the U.K., the U.S.A., Australia and Canada. IELTS is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council and IDP Australia.
