The International Foundation Programme is delivered through the following types of modules.Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL): CLIL is neither just subject nor just language learning, but a merger of both whereby the students' knowledge is strengthened around all the various aspects of the language and subject. This integration of content, learning, communication and culture into the whole learning and teaching process promotes authenticity and relevance for the students, thus providing a firm foundation for further study.English for Academic Study (EAS): EAS covers a broad range of language skills and academic practice which are required for study at degree level. EAS strengthens the students' core English language skills by enabling them to support each other in an integrative learning process, whilst further promoting skills such as critical thinking, wider forms of expression and a more developed intuitive understanding of the English language.
