Course Structure

Lessons are usually delivered on a part-day release basis, usually on one afternoon and one evening a week. This way, you can effectively fit the course around your work and personal commitments. Normally, entry is by degree or equivalent. If you do not have a degree, evidence of appropriate prior learning or experience may be taken into account.

We’ll provide workshops covering research methods, to make sure you acquire the academic tools to successfully find, understand and apply information and data to your work.

After you complete your postgraduate certificate at the end of the first year you will then move on to the postgraduate diploma for the second year of study. Here, you can carry out our own research under the guidance of one of our staff. You can explore a human resource issue of your choosing, perhaps one from within your own organisation. Once you have completed, you will be able to bring insight, clarity and understanding to your role as a HR specialist.
