The International Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a 12-month programme offered by POLIMI Graduate School of Management (GSoM), designed to equip students with managerial skills for a career in the entrepreneurial world. This includes leadership, decision-making, market development, sustainable and cost-effective innovation management, and personal development. The programme integrates practical activities like lessons, international lectures, company presentations, workshops on soft skills, project work with companies, company visits, and alumni talks. programme Structure: - General Management Courses: Foundation in general management principles. - Core Courses in Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Focused learning on innovation and entrepreneurship. - Electives: Customizable learning according to student interests. - Pre-Incubation Lab & Investors’ Meetings: Practical exposure to real-world scenarios. - Project Work: Completion of an academic or company-based project, presented as a short thesis or detailed project description. - Leadership & Managerial Skills: Modules on negotiation, effective communication, leadership, and team dynamics are included to develop essential managerial skills. Master Your Growth: Activities aimed at enhancing business networking opportunities and professional skill development. Practice Week: An experiential week focusing on corporate innovation and entrepreneurship. Additional Services: Access to services by the Politecnico di Milano Digital Innovation Observatories and a language platform to improve Italian language skills. Double-Degree Option in Entrepreneurship with WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management: Students have the opportunity to obtain an MSc in Entrepreneurship from WHU by attending an additional year. There are two pathways: 1) Enroll in the entire programme from the beginning, spending the first year at POLIMI GSoM and the second at WHU, with a contract outlining the full programme details. 2) Initially enroll at POLIMI GSoM and then decide by February of the first year to spend the second year at WHU, signing a contract specifically for the second year.
