Course programme

You will study our MA in International Tourism and Hospitality Management three days a week at our London based campus. Each module comprises two to three hours weekly contact via lecture/seminar or workshop activities/tutorials and the occasional field trip. Our MA programme can be studied in one year full time, or two years part time. In addition to your chosen modules, you will be asked to complete a 60 credit contextual research methods and dissertation module that will require you to submit a research report on an approved topic. Part time students will study four modules in their first year and undertake the two remaining 15 credits modules and the research dissertation in your second year of study.

The focus for the term long modules will be on providing opportunities for you to acquire specialist knowledge in areas such as event management and sustainable tourism and relate these to the wider framework of other course modules. The dissertation module will provide you with support and guidance throughout the workings of your individual project.
