Description Breakdown:
The following areas will be covered:
Using a computer safely (switching on, using mouse & keyboard, working with the desktop menus & icons, saving & printing files, create a document e.g. poster, letter, insert picture or image or clip art or scanned picture and format a document, creating charts from numerical data)
Finding information using a computer (use the computer to access the internet, access information on CDs, DVDs, floppy disks & memory sticks, use a web browser, use a search engine and print information)
Using email: (create an email account, send & receive email messages, use an address book & print and delete emails)
Creating charts from numerical data
The course uses Microsoft Office 2007 software
