This course will develop your understand of how a camera works. This will allow you to understand the different functions and features of your camera.
You will learn what are different functions and options of your camera and when to use them. How to take photos in a difficult situation (i.e. backlit subjects, high key, low key subjects, macro, etc.).
You will learn how a camera analyses a scene to set exposure and shutter speed. Different concepts of photography (i.e. ISO, Shutter speed, Exposure, Noise, program modes, etc) and how they affect your final photos.
Introduction to composition, how to take well composed photos (i.e. rule of thirds, composition by colour, etc)
