Introduction:
PC Additions are exciting new courses designed to give you that little extra. You may want to learn a new skill related to your work, or master a new talent in a day - if so PC Additions courses are ideal. The aim of this course is to explore and find out how to dye, print and use traditional hand stitch techniques. The outcome will be a series of textile samples that could be the starting point for another project.

Study Mode & Location:
This 1 day course lasts for 6 hours. It will be held at Park Campus, Moor Park Avenue, Preston, PR1 6AS.

Course Content:
This course is an introduction to Indian Textiles. The day will start with a short lecture on Indian Textiles, followed by the opportunity to explore some of the wonderful dyeing, printing and traditional hand stitch techniques. All materials will be provided however, if you have any fabrics or threads that you would like to use please bring them along.

There are no assessments on this course.

Successful completion of this course may lead to other PC Additions courses or higher level studies.

How To Apply
You may need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser before enrolling on this course.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
