Course programme

We will discuss developing themes and characterisation, narrative and dramatic techniques and how the authors use language. We will make comparisons within and between texts where appropriate.

A variety of teaching methods will be used - tutor led presentations, large and small group discussions, DVD extracts and readings. No extra costs. Please bring a notebook and pen to enable you to make any notes you wish to make during classes. You will need to bring your own copies of the two main texts: 'Atonement' and 'Skylight'.
