Tina Rowe-Dunn

Training Director

Tina was formally trained as a Graphic Designer. In 1982 she set up her own design and advertising business and in 1992 she shifted her focus of attention to providing multi-media training across a range of software applications on both Apple Macs and Windows, whilst at the same time continuing to practice on a day-to-day basis as a marketing and design consultant, diversifying and combining traditional marketing with the web-based e-marketing and in particular search engine optimisation. Today, she divides her time between running the business, training and her first love – design.

Course programme

During this course participants will have the opportunity to learn the main features of PowerPoint, including object tools and menus, working with text in layout or outline views, creating simple graphics and setting up templates. Importing pictures and creating charts will also be covered. An overview of setting up on-screen slide shows, timings, transitions and animating objects will also be covered. The course is totally interactive and delegates are encouraged to bring examples of the type of work they want to produce.

A detailed course outline is available on request.

All courses are "workshop style" rather than classroom. Courses include lunch, free pre-training analysis, post-training support and course notes when appropriate.

Additional information

All of our courses are workshop style rather than classroom. By this we mean that real world examples are used to illustrate the learning, and we strongly encourage   participants to bring along examples of the type of work they wish to produce. By     taking you through the process of achieving the end result, this ensures that when you return to your desk the next day you are confident, immediately productive and the training is extremely cost effective.

We will always ask what you are looking to produce - and advise you on the most     suitable training to achieve your end goal.

Unlike most software training companies and higher education establishments, CGT  training courses are designed and run by industry experts, who use the programs they teach on a day to day basis in their workplace.
