Introduction to Performance Testing

This one day course provides students with an overview of the objectives of performance testing and an introduction to the key skills required to create and run a performance test and then interpret the results.

The course has the following objectives:

• Gain an understanding of what is meant by performance testing
• Know what objectives can be met through performance testing
• Be able to undertake a risk assessment
• Be able to define typical acceptance criteria
• Understand the performance testing lifecycle
• Appreciate what skills and experience the performance testing
