Plastic behaves differently to traditional materials such as metal or wood. This one-day introductory course is supported by the BPF and is designed to provide you with hands-on experience that will develop your initial understanding of how plastics have been used in contemporary environments as well as giving you a comprehensive introduction to plastics technology.

About this course

This introductory hands-on one-day course is designed to develop your initial understanding of how the behaviour of plastics has been applied in the modern environment and also to provide you with a comprehensive introduction to plastics technology. The course is supported by the British Plastics Federation (BPF).

This one-day hands-on experience course is intended for non-technical staff employed in industrial support areas such as sales and marketing, buying, costing, and warehouse and distribution departments. This course does not require any prior knowledge and is suitable for those new to the subject who would benefit from an introduction to polymer materials and their shaping techniques (including designers and architects).

This course does not require any prior knowledge and is suitable for those new to the subject who would benefit from an introduction to polymer materials and their shaping techniques. There will also be presentations on designers and architects.
