This intensive sewing course builds on the Introduction to Professional Sewing Skills - Part 1 and is student led. The purpose of the program is to give an effective learning environment that provides the learner with an opportunity to further develop and improve their sewing technique and practice. The independent structure allows for each student to work on an individual project and make the maximum use of class time. Students can expect to build upon their own personal understanding of their level of sewing and improve their techniques while on the course.

The format of the course is structured around aid by samples of step-by-step procedures, working within pairs or groups of four as necessary. Students should be prepared to take detailed notes during tutor demonstrations in order to effectively apply them to their own practice and project.
Level and entry requirements
Applicants must have undertake the Professional Sewing Skills Part 1 or know the basic sewing skills of pockets, zipper, and collar.
