Course Programme
  • Unit 1: Safety and health management in an organisation. Develop and write a business case to recommend the introduction of an effective occupational safety and health management system.
  • Unit 2: How to influence a safety and health culture within an organisation. Complete a research report into organisational health and safety culture.
  • Unit 3: A strategic, business-focused approach to safety and health. Complete research and a presentation on either an organisation’s value chain or a function within the value chain.
Assessments

Upon passing all three end of unit assessments, the delegate will receive a NCFE IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Safety and Health for Business.

When do people know whether they have passed?

Once the portfolio is submitted to IOSH for verification, IOSH will contact Phoenix with the relevant outcome following the review.

How long does it take to get the certificate?

The submitted portfolio will go through the IOSH and NCFE verification process and if the portfolio meets the IOSH and NCFE standards, the delegate will receive a certificate. The certification process can take up to several months.
