What are the main features of this course?
This is a full-time two year course. Students work individually and in small groups. Students learn how ICT is used in industry, commerce and service industries and investigate the importance of ICT in everyday life. They also learn how hardware and software is used to provide ICT services.

Hours of Lessons per Week: 17
Indicative Group Size: 18

How is the course assessed?
By 18 assignments one of which will be externally set and assessed in the second year.

Who should study this course?
Students starting the course should have:- 4 GCSEs at Grade C including GCSE English or overall merit (60 points or higher) in First Diploma with Communication Key Skills Level 2. Maths and English GCSE at C or above are an advantage to those students considering Higher Education.

Where can I go next?
Higher Education or employment as an IT professional and other jobs in the IT fields.
