Overview
The main aim of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage and Electrotherapy Treatments is to enable Learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide Massage and Electrotherapy Therapy Treatments

Entry Requirements
A suitable level of English and maths is required, relevant level 2 qualification or current industry experience.

Course Duration
Part Time - Two evenings per week, 6pm -9pm.

Skills and Benefits
To provide skills at Level 3 for those interested in the Massage Industry, to provide opportunities for staff in the Massage Industry to gain a Level 3 qualification. The course will provide opportunities for Learners to focus on the development of the major functional skills and the wider functional skills in a Massage context, such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem solving.

Provide Body Massage Provide Body Electrotherapy Treatments Provide Facial Electrotherapy Treatments Working in the Beauty Related Industries Monitor and Maintain Health and Safety Practice in the Salon Client Care and Communication in Beauty Related Industries

Optional Units
There are no optional units on this qualification.

Course Assessment
Once all of the treatment evidence documentation, assignments and underpinning knowledge have been completed, the Learner will have a final practical examination carried out by the ITEC External Examiner, who will also verify a sample of all treatment evidence documentation and assignments.
