Introduction
This 5-day course looks at the Planning, Protection and Optimization module of ITIL. This module focuses on best practices in Planning, Protection and Optimization in order to improve service availability management, capacity management, continuity management, information security management, demand management.
Planning, Protection and Optimization is a globally recognised Intermediate level ITIL qualification, and completing it earns 4 credits towards the 17 needed to progress to ITIL Expert level.
Prerequisites
You must have achieved the ITIL Foundation certificate or the version 2 to version 3 bridge equivalent before taking this course.
We also recommend purchasing the Planning, Protection and Optimization: 2011 Intermediate Capability Handbook (ISBN: 9780113314546), which will both help you study and serve as a handy reference guide when putting these processes into practice.
