Etching is the process of using an acid and a resist to create patterns, texture and surface decoration on metal.
You will learn different techniques to transfer designs such as drawings, images, and texts on metal with the use of
various resists, and how to use acids for cutting those designs into the metal. Finally you will also explore how to add colour using cold enamels, oxides and other patinas to enhance your etched designs.
