Course programme

Spend a day exploring ways to create a beaded bezel for gemstones or glass.

The intricate technique of bead weaving is a very adaptable and forgiving way to create bezels for cabochons and other gemstones or glass features.

Through demonstrations and hands on help throughout the day, the tutor will guide you through two different techniques, creating beautiful surrounds to complement and securely hold and protect the stones.

This day will include using right angle weave, peyote stitch and herringbone stitch and is a great way to build on existing bead weaving skills and add new features into your work. This class would suit anyone who has a little bead weaving experience.

As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea, coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable.

We take an hour break for lunch and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. Alternatively there are plenty of places nearby to get lunch.

If you have any questions regarding this or any of our other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
