Course content:
New life for old tat! This course is for those with basic knitting knowledge who wish to develop their skills further using more unusual materials.
Experiment with knitting shredded fabrics on chunky needles, knitting with carrier bags and bin liners, using wire and adding beads. Start collecting items to use at the class:carrier bags, bin liners, old clothes, tea towels, sheets, old knitted jumpers that can be unravelled, garden wire/twine.
Look out for chunky needles in charity shops! A materials list will be sent out prior to the workshop.
