As part of the application process all students will be given the opportunity to attend an informal interview. This will allow them to get a feel for the college and discuss their requirements with a member of the Supported Learning team.

Course Content:
There are a number of options available as follows. Care of Farm Animals; Farm and Garden (at Sheldon Country Park); Indoor Gardening; Horticulture;
We offer a wide range of Land-Based studies courses, suitable for beginners and those looking to develop existing skills. They include Animal feeding, Water and bedding, Animal grooming and routine care, Routine garden maintenance, Growing vegetables, Planting designs, Working on flower beds and borders, Health and Safety and Workplace skills. Students are encouraged to work on their own and as part of a group, to help develop social and communication skills. These courses are available on a full or part time basis.
