Types: Fixed term tenancy, Periodic tenancies, Statutory tenancies,Terminable tenancies, Perpetually renewable leases, Reversionary Leases,Concurrent leases, Tenancies by estoppel, Tenancies at will, Tenancies at sufference

Formalities: Contractual nature of leases, Requirements for a legal lease, Leases enforceable in equity, enforceable contracts, part performance, Nature and effect of an equitable lease

Covenants and Conditions: Difference between covenants & conditions, Covenants in Leases

Implied covenants (Lessor): Quiet enjoyment, Not to derogate from grant, State and fitness of premises

Implied covenants (Lessee): To pay rent Outgoings, Maintenance and repair, Entering and viewing

Assessment

The Fellowship Award is assessed through three substantial 'work based' assignments / projects of some 5000 words each. There are no time limits involved.
