"Our offering differs from a ‘qualifying’ law degree and is thus not accredited by the SRA or Bar Standards Board but we embed CILEx into our qualifications.

Our HNC, HND and BA in Law and Practice embed the CILEx qualifications as follows:
HNC: level 3 CILEx Certificate in the practice in criminal law
HND: embeds the remaining modules necessary to complete the level 3 Diploma in law and practice
BA: embeds the level 6 Higher Diploma in law and practice

The embedding of these qualifications allows you to apply for exemptions from CILEx (at an extra cost payable to CILEx) to gain the additional vocational qualifications with no extra study. If you choose to apply for these exemptions you will gain academic and vocational qualifications during the 3 year period of study.

Additionally, if you wish to become solicitors and progress on to the LPC the option is available for you to undertake external examinations in the SRA core subjects which will enable you to progress on to the LPC."
