What I would highlight: University has been interesting so far and has given me some opportunities to come out of my comfort zone to try new things. I have encountered staff members who are the most helpful people, who would go out of their way to help with an issue but also those not as helpful as others. They have excellent facilities in most places, for instance the photocopy machines can be found in every building and can be used by students as well. This is pretty useful as the lecturers give you so many reading and handouts to work with. I would recommend Coventry to anyone interested in gaining a good HE diploma.

What I would highlight: I'm liking it so far and would class my uni experience as good. They've make an effort to provide a good student experience.I,m most impressed by the library facilities, the Hub (which is a student specific building) and the societies. I also think there are events being held regularly for personal and career development. They have even conducted a TEDx talk at the university. The nature of the course is very much tailored in order to help us meet the necessary requirements to be able to gain employment. The employment rate is high in terms of graduate adult nursing students furthermore. Placements are allocated to us and the course is structured by the nursing school which is part of the department of health and life sciences. university’s facilities? Quite good. I am impressed because I have studied before and can compare these experiences to my last university. I appreaciate that there is a 24hour librabry facility and I think theFaith and Spirituality centre is fantastic. The support is great. I like the Centre for Academic Writing (CAW). Great support networks.

What I would highlight: I am enjoying my course, the teaching is very good and I am learning to become an autonomous learner. Enjoying my placements as part of my course which prepare you for work after uni. Placements prepare you for professional practice. Working with different professions (nursing and physio students) prepares you for working as part of MDT within NHS settings. university’s facilities? Fairly good. Library is well maintained. Feedback is timely and detailed. Personal tutors are on hand to support when needed.

What I would highlight: It has been hard as i said i dont have the support that i need from university, therefore everything that i have acheived I had to work extra hard to get it. I think university needs to be more understanding and respectful of student circumstances.. Lecturers are always available to help. Other services offered by the uni include a doctors on campus and a health and wellbeing centre which helps and listens to students who have any personal difficulties. They are very quick to get you booked in and offer the best care. If your problem isn't something they can help with they will refer you to the best place for you and ensure you get the help you need.

What I would highlight: I am an Occupational Therapy student in my first year. My expectations were that it was going to be very fun and really intense and that it would be quite rewarding. It has been everything I expected it to be and more. The one thing I like most is working with people and being able to do work placements. The course is preparing me for professional practice as there are many deadlines and I have to organise myself a lot. When we go into practice, we still have to learn and it gets us into a habit.

What I would highlight: My university experience has been good so far. The university staff were happy to help me change course even though I was moving across faculties from Automotive Engineering to English and Creative Writing. And I was able to do this several weeks into my original course which meant I didn't have to make it through my first year on a course I didn't enjoy before being able to change courses. The university offers many small-scale events such as webinars, group sessions and one to one workshops on employability and workplace skills ranging from presentation skills to CV writing to effective job searching. They also run large scale events like employability fairs that are specific to faculties so each faculty gets a chance to promote relevant employers and invite them in to talk to students. The course allows us to have a high degree of creative freedom in some of our modules whilst still maintaining a stricter and more academic approach in others. This allows us to explore our ideas in our university work without sacrificing the academic side of the experience meaning that we will be well prepared no matter what we go on to do after completing our undergraduate degrees.

What I would highlight: I don't think there could be a better university for me. Coventry university is a diverse place full of people from all over the world. It provides opportunity to learn about other cultures and being everyone together. A sense of unity. Furthermore, it provides fantastic opportunities to better yourself in preparation for your career. Leadership and language programmes as well as many employability workshops. Also the lecturers are so passionate, encouraging, supportive and dedicated that it gives you the best possible chance of doing your absolute best. Our lecturers are very passionate about what they teach and many of them have working experience which provides insight into how we can apply our knowledge in a real job role. They go out of their way to find interesting and unique examples rather than easy general case studies. They are always available to meet and respond to email very quickly. Furthermore their coursework support is outstanding. They really want us to do our best on will put aside their own time to achieve this.

What I would highlight: My experience so far has been really good. I studied my foundation year in Loughborough and I must say, Coventry is so much more inviting. You really feel supported, and it's much more close knit. Coventry is very good at increasing employability. There are a lot of placement and job fairs, and the careers department are very useful. I recently had a meeting to talk about my placement interview and it was very useful. They also do not expect you to pay for your placement year, which is very handy as some universities will still expect your tuition fees. The lecturers are all very approachable and try to make the lectures as interesting as possible. They are always available to speak to you about anything you might need, and are willing to take time out of their own day to help. The facilities are excellent. I am in the new engineering building and it's amazing. They have everything you could possibly need, and it's very modern and clean. The support is amazing. We have something called a Theta room, where lecturers are obliged to go and sit for at least 3 hours a week to help anyone that goes along. We also have a maths support center where you can go along and ask anything to do with maths. On top of that, the lecturers are usually very quick to answer emails, and are happy to help.

What I would highlight: My personal university experience has been great so far. Coventry's facilities are excellent and very helpful. The different classes and lecturers have all the equipment and facilities. The guys working for the Students Union is very helpful. I never got a chance to participate in the union and I don't know much about it. Facililties are really good specially in the hub. And it is also equipped with all the modern technology. A superb experience! Hesitate no more and choose Coventry!

What I would highlight: Lecturers at Coventry are all very supportive, and my degree content I find it relevant and engaging. There are great opportunities for social activities and international travel that I have participated in. A especial emphasis is placed on employability skills, through mandatory modules throughout the duration of the degree, the opportunity to undertake summer and a year long placement between year 2 and year 3 is also actively encouraged. Very good, academic staff and available and supportive when needed and wider university pastoral care services are accessible should you need to use them.

What I would highlight: My experience at Coventry has been great. I think this is a very interesting university, fully modernised teaching methods and approach, 24x7 full equipped library, access to all major computing softwares. The tutors encourage us to contact them, regular meeting for groups and individuals are set up to check on our progress and to allow us to provide feedback on any changes to the course we may prefer. However any support required with technical faults, such as with moodle or emails, can take longer to resolve as the tech team are slow at replying to your issues and concerns. It's more likely to be sorted if you approach specific personel with your problem as emails are often pushed to one side.

What I would highlight: I feel comfortable in Coventry both city and university. I would definitely recommend Coventry to any student that likes a simple and calm yet enjoyable experience. The university held a lot of seminars and career fairs, tried to secure internships and gave advice to help students get a better understanding and opportunity for employment. The material is easily accessible. Furthermore, a number of lecturers brought numerous experts( in my case Judges, solicitors and law academics ) whom gave us a greater insight in many areas related to our course. I think the feedback and counselling that I received, for the most part, was helpful.

What I would highlight: My experience at Coventry University has been excellent. Assistance is there when you need it. There are plenty of opportunities to have your voice heard. My University did a lot to help with my CV skills. They have what is called Add+vantage which is an extra module to help with my employability . There are also plenty of voluntary opportunities. My Student Union is very active i am involved with the voluntary team which is great. They do their best to support us. I particularly use the maths support center and it has been really helpful with my maths course.
