This course will help you learn about London and improve your English at the same time. You will learn about different places in London and about people who have lived there – in the past and now. You will also learn about important events in the past and present. You will visit places. You will read about these places and talk or write about them. You will also talk about how you feel about living in London. You will improve your vocabulary, your grammar, your writing, reading, listening and speaking.

About this course

• use a wide range vocabulary to describe people and places

There should be no additional costs since the places visited will be free. But you should bring a pen, paper and folder to class.

Additional information

There are many courses you could do next. You could join one our general ESOL courses with an exam either E2, E3 or L1. Or you can do a course without an exam and work on specific areas of your English such as pronunciation or grammar. Your tutor will advise you on the best course.
