This course will introduce you to drawing with chalk pastels. You will explore some basic techniques giving you an insight into the many possibilities for making pastel sketches and finished drawings. Taking inspiration from artists such as Edgar Degas, Odilon Redon and Joan Eardley and exploring their approaches.
You will receive advice about an appropriate type and level of drawing or painting course for further study.

All drawing materials are provided, however if you have your own chalk pastels, pastel pencils or soft pastels please do bring them along.
