LEVEL 1 BTEC AWARD FOR IT USERS

The Edexcel BTEC Level 1 Award, for IT Users is a nationally recognised programme designed by employers to meet the needs of today’s businesses. The suite of ITQ qualifications allow you to acquire IT skills that will help you work effectively and productively in your employment. You will gain basic skills and understanding of using some of Microsoft Office Applications such as Word and Excel.• There aren’t specific entry requirements. However, your English must be at least at E3 and you must basic skills in using Microsoft Word.The purpose of this qualification is to develop and recognise learners' IT skills and knowledge and enable them to use IT effectively in their daily lives. These qualifications are designed to prepare learners for employment in the IT sector and they are suitable for those who have decided that they wish to enter a specific area of work within the IT industry.
