Course Content

This course is a continuation of the first year and allows students to further develop their skills and knowledge both in the workshop and in the classroom.


Course Content:

Subjects covered include:

• • Introduction to Spark ignition power units.


• •Introduction to Engine liquid cooling and engine lubrication systems.


• •Introduction to Vehicle Transmissions.


• •Introduction to Steering & Suspension.


• •Introduction to Vehicle Ignition systems.


• •Introduction to Vehicle Valeting.

Assessment:

Students will carry out a number of practical assessments in the workshop along with short multiple choice exams for each subject area.

1 year, 2 evenings per week.

Entry Requirements
