Entry Requirements
• No previous education or
experience is necessary.
• The programme is for young
people aged 16 – 25 years
who are not currently in
full-time education, training
or employment.
Course Content
• Week 1 – Induction Week
• Week 2 – Team Building
Residential – a week of outdoor
pursuits completely free
• Weeks 3 – 6 – Community Project
– painting, gardening, art work
and making a difference in the
local community
• Weeks 7 – 8 – Work Placement –
gain experience, learn new skills
and get a career
• Week 9 – Next Steps Week –
CV, Applications, Interview Skills,
Careers Advice & Planning for
the future
• Week 10/ 11 – Team Challenge –
Working with other local groups
and planning activities
• Week 12 – Final Presentation

• The Prince’s Trust is a challenging
programme that is delivered in a
fun and interactive way. The focus
is on working as a team on a
number of projects that lead to a
City & Guilds Level 1 Certificate.
• The programme lasts for
12 weeks and is full-time
(Monday – Friday).
• The participants will gain
increased confidence, motivation
and other employability skills.
They will work towards a
nationally recognised
qualification. They will also
receive one-to-one support and
careers guidance for the future.
Making new friends and having
fun is an added bonus of
the course.
