2. Course description You'll learn about a range of different beauty therapy techniques across several units designed to improve your knowledge and skills. Entry requirements You'll need to have one of the following:      4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E), including English & Maths or equivalent - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE English and/or Maths     Previous experience may be considered  You'll also need to be employed in the industry. If you do not have a job but are interested in an Apprenticeship call us on 0115 9 100 100. 4. Equipment required Where appropriate, any equipment required (e.g. protective clothing) will be discussed with you at interview/enrolment. Please call our friendly advisors on 0115 9100 100 for further information. 5. Assessment method The workplace tutor continually assesses practical and theory work throughout. An internal verifier will visit students to monitor progress. Students are required to keep a portfolio of evidence generated in the workplace.
