Course programme

Programmes at the Centre for Entrepreneurship are closely linked to the world of business. This programme has been developed in consultation with the Adult Enterprise Partnership; a group of experienced business advisers, colleges and adult community learning providers.

The purpose of this qualification is to provide you with a framework of learning to explore the potential, and gain knowledge and understanding of, the implications of starting your own business. Adult Enterprise is for students over 16.
   The qualification is suitable for anyone who is considering self -employment but may be particularly suitable for people currently unemployed, on government work programmes or who may have had some
   informal business experience.
At the end of this course, you will achieve the OCNLR Level 2 Certificate in First Steps to Enterprise.
You are assessed through activities that are set internally by tutor assessors.
•The activities are designed to enable you to meet the assessment criteria of the unit
•Your portfolio is assessed and internally verified at the Centre
•Your portfolio may be assessed and externally verified by an OCNLR London Quality Reviewer
There is no additional external assessment for this qualification.
